FAQ
General Questions
Are you closed?
Yes, Eyestyle Studio is currently closed as I work on some exciting industry projects. Don't worry though, you can still get your hands on amazing eyewear and expert styling advice at the Pop-Up Event 16-21 March 2026 at Sunday Best, Rawtenstall.
What is an Eyewear Stylist?
I can't speak for anyone else, but here's my definition! It's someone who takes the time to get to know YOU. Not just how you look or your facial features, but the inner you and how you want to feel when wearing your glasses. It's someone who can look at your face and instantly pull out a frame that looks amazing on it! Someone who pays attention to the little details (like how they fit). Someone who takes you to the edge of your comfort zone and beyond (because that's where the magic is). Someone who has spent years homing their craft; studying frames, lenses, fashions, style, colour and manufacture so you end up with the perfect pair(s) of glasses. Oh, and a Qualified Dispensing Optician.
Do you do eye tests?
No. As a qualified Dispensing Optician and Eyewear Stylist I handle all aspects of frames and lenses. Simply bring a copy of your current prescription with you.
Choosing new glasses should be as a fun as looking for a new coat, a bag or an outfit. It should always result in you wearing a pair you love. A hurried experience following an eye test just doesn't get that result. So I focus on the bit I do best, the styling.
Do you stock designer brands?
I source independently designed eyewear from around the world, but do not stock brands that you'll find on the high street.
Mass produced 'designer' collections usually don't have the same finish, unique design features or quality that I look for here at Eyestyle Studio. I want you to love your glasses for years and re-lens them when needed. For this to happen they need to truly be a reflection of you, not one of a generic bunch that you'll quickly tire of.
Ordering
Can I just purchase frames?
Of course! If you'd like to get your funky frames from us at your Styling Appointment and then take them to your local optician to glaze with prescription lenses that's perfectly ok. You may find that some opticians are unwilling to glaze a frame purchased elsewhere however, so be sure to check this first.
You may also purchase frames directly from the online store without prescription lenses; although not all collections are available to view this way.
How long do my glasses take to make?
If you've had a Styling Appointment and chosen your frame, lenses take 10-14 days. Rebecca will advise if this will be any different, and of course if you're in a hurry you can request a quicker turnaround!
Bespoke frames can take up to 8 weeks, or sometimes more if it's really one-of-a-kind. So this type of purchase needs to be done well ahead of any special event.
Following the Pop-Up event a Collection Appointment will be scheduled week beginning 13th April or alternatively postage arranged.
Can I buy from you before the Pop-Up Event?
No frame sales until the pop-up event I'm afraid.
I already bought glasses but need new lenses, what should I do?
If you are an existing client and I have done lenses for the glasses previously then reach out in the chat box. If it's relatively straight-forward I can still get glasses re-lensed before the event. Otherwise please bring them along to the event in March.
